Art is Universal.

Having had the opportunity to travel to various places around the world, my world view is probably much broader than it would have been had I lived in one place all of my life. But not only have I been introduced to a broad range of styles, but I've become enamoured with many forms of art as well. Whether it is a canvas, sculpture, toy, or any other form, it has a message all of its own.

If you were to visit my office or any other room for that matter, you'd find that I'm not married to one form of art. What is important to me is what the piece says. I'm not the type of collector who buys something just because it is famous. As a matter of fact, that form of collecting goes against my very nature. But my piece does have to be able to connect to my soul before I'll even consider it. For if I'm not in love with it, then how can I appreciate it? And what if someone more worthy than me wants the piece, and is willing to give it a loving home. THAT is what art is about: connection. The one thing that all living creatures value.
